Looked at this car this morning for a friend of a friend Some one else had a go and changed the high pressure pump . Car has 100000 miles and new battery fitted . It try's to start then exceeding cranking time sign came up this morning In the video i don't see any FRP b value . Any ideas https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNCz_f8oylI

A great idea is to post the entire scan and all the faults that were recorded.

Help us all understand ....... an new pump? A pump from the breakers? Does the pump match the original model?

I cant tell you why the pump was changed as some one else was looking at it . I was told the pump cost £180 so its not new or a recon at that price . The code that comes up is P0251

P0251: Injector pump fuel metering control
Did you test and look at the fuel filter and fuel quality?
Has the air been bled away from the filter and pump?
Was the metering control measured with a voltmeter?
