[HELP] Red Error Icon

Post by StevenChau935 » Tue Aug 13, 2019 7:47 am

Hi, I'm new to Forscan but after some attempts, I was able to enable and disable some features I don't need on my 2019 F-150 Platinum. After all, I found this red icon error. Would anybody tell me what are they and how to fix it please. Did I do something wrong? Thank you

looks like that you have an issue with the ODB reader. Does it have a switch on it? if not does it support both HS amd MS-Can ? if not that is your problem. However i do not think its that though.

Make sure in the connection tab setting are correct. You OBD is likely to have a switch on so make sure you select the correct setting. Then make sure it is in the HS-Can mode and try and reconnect again.

That should then roll through the first load and then prompt you to flick the switch and then read the rest.

I hope that helps

Oh yes, that solved the issue. So is it just switching between MS & HS in the OBD reader, nothing wrong with my car right?

Thank you

now you have it working correctly. see if you got any new errors. You might need to clear the exisiting ones that have been produced do to the obd reader.

I only see the errors if the OBD reader switched to incorrect mode, but if I switch to a mode which requires on the notification the errors would disappear. Thank you
