I have a BT OBDII adapter that has connected to Forscan Android app (and the Torque app no problems) and also to my Laptop and Forscan communicates with it no problems. My question is my adapter doesn't have HS/MS Can switch. Am I just limited to looking at data and not reconfigure because on no HS/MS Can switch.
Also can someone explain what HS/MS is so I can educate myself.

BTW - Noob here but I've been messing with computers etc. for a long time but messing with my car's code is something I've never done. I look forward to getting help from you fine people and maybe down the road I'll be able to help as well.

Thanks f-wolf
I have broken open my adapter to install an on/off switch. Guess I need to take it apart and install an MS/HS switch.

Thanks again. I've got my switch(s) on order. Had to buy 10 but they only cost me $3.00 with free next day shipping from the A company.
BTW my BT adapter works perfectly with Forscan only I can see some of the modules because they are on the MS can buss.

I modified my adapter yesterday and but Forscan doesn't seem to see any more modules than before I modified it. It does see all the HS modules then forscan says to switch to MS and hit OK. I hit OK and it doesn't do anything but finish up with the HS modules shown before the mod and no other modules. I'm stumped as I looked over my wiring a bunch of times. Anyone have any suggestions? I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and get another adapter.

Create a new profile like you would being the first time. It will then scan for all the modules again and should help
