Post by nickthegreek » Mon Jul 16, 2018 4:26 pm

hi all,
had to have the instrument cluster repaired on my 2005 cmax, cannot reprogram PATS. I have the extended licence for Forscan and a standard ELM327, i go through the procedure until it fails on getting an incode. all seems ok until then. what am i doing wrong?
cheers

You need a separate Ford Incode/Outcode calculator program.

What happens is that IDS will challenge you with an OUT code for secure operations. You put that code into the program and it presents an IN code as in the code to put into IDS as a reply.

Hi
Does the std Elm327 connect ok with your PCM/ECU ?

Ford Incode/Outcode calculator is included within the Forscan software.
