Re: ELM327-compatible adapters - how to choose
Does anyone know if these 'genuine' ELS27 V3 on EBay are legit? I did the pre-order form on the els27.ru site, but it has been almost two weeks now and I haven't heard anything back. I would like to purchase one, but I don't want to end up paying $90 for some clone.
Thanks!

Hello
can you please add OBDLink MX+ to your table in the first site, so we can see for what is it.

Re: ELM327-compatible adapters - how to choose
I just purchased an OBDlink SX adapter from scantool.net and their software (OBDQiz sees the adapter). When I start FORScan and try to connect I get "No ELM found". In FORScan, if I click the bottom left icon (looks like a steering wheel), I get a dialog with "Enter Activation code" button. Do I have to register something with FORScan .. how do I get an activation code or make this adapter work?

1st, make sure you check to make sure that the USB adapter is not having conflict issues with your computer. Assuming you are using Windows, go to device manager and look for any errors. You may need to update the drivers. I am thinking that Forscan isn't seeing your adapter because of this.Boland1776 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 04, 2019 8:38 pmI just purchased an OBDlink SX adapter from scantool.net and their software (OBDQiz sees the adapter). 2nd, the "activation" you see on that screen has nothing to do with the adapter.
Re: ELM327-compatible adapters - how to choose
So I bought the MX+ adapter thinking I didn't want to take a chance on the cheaper ones. However I can't see any of the ms-can modules. Is there a setting I need to change? I've made a few changes to my 2018 super duty, but there's a few more in the ICP I'd like to change.

I have the ohp WiFi adapter, and I’m getting an error code:
“This adapter has CAN bus compatibility problems and cannot be used in some functions”
Consequently, I’m unable to complete and changed to my APIM. Do I need to get another adapter?
