Connecting to UBP modules

Post by ThatOneDude » Wed Oct 25, 2017 11:38 pm

I have a OBDLink MX Bluetooth unit, and have had very few troubles connecting to several vehicles from early models to more recent MS-CAN equipped models.

On my 2007 Ford F-150, there are 3 main module communication networks. HS-CAN, ISO, and UBP.

My truck is a base XL model, and does not come with several modules. I am able to access the RCM over ISO, and the PCM, 4X4M, ABS, and IC modules over HS-CAN.

For some reason, I cannot access the UBP network to check out the VSM, where my Keyless Entry and TPMS systems reside. Has anyone else had success connecting to the UBP network that could provide any tips?
