I realize the inexpensive VCX and VCM2 from China are clones but what makes them "bad"

Has anybody had a problem with them? If so what was the problem? Never worked at all? Not reliable? Missing features? Failed after a few uses?
I had a VCMII and it lasted a bit over a year, with very lite use(maybe used 10 times). It had trouble in the cold too.
It also was not able to flash a PCM, no matter how much I tried. I had a spare PCM if it failed, but it never could even start the process - let alone screw it up.
The seller told me it would not likely flash, and they would probably buy the Ford VCM if they needed it for daily flashing. At least they were honest.
It took longer and longer to find the vehicle, until one day it just never did.

I may have a case with my credit card company to warranty it under extended warranty.

This is the cheap VCMII(about 130 shipped), not the single chip one but it had one of the 12V flashing jack connected with a wire.

If I get money back I may get a NANO, but I read some bad reviews about it when it comes to flashing using IDS.

I own VCX Nano WiFi. I use IDS v103.xx fine without issue. Latest update of VXDiag gives it a better stability when doing programming.

And second configure ForScan like this:

It runs perfectly

Update your VCX Manager and drivers to the latest version

Well, this is the most useful thing I've read on the internet today. Thanks!

I think I found it (called VX Manager from AllScanner) but I get an error 126 when trying to load VCX.DLL

How do I fix that? VCX.DLL is on the PC and I copied it to C:\Windows\System32 and still get the error.
