Forscan 2.4.x - UCDS pro +

Post by cezarg1410 »

Hello,
i am trying to use Forscan with chinese UCDS PRO+.
Forscan is correctly recognizing the J2534 adapter and it connects to the car without any problems.
But - if i want to read AsBuilt data from ANY module - then forscan freezes on reading the first block...
Maybe anybody know how to solve that?

These were set to 'AUTO' by default in my current Forscan version.
Anyway, i checked it again and all are set to 'AUTO'. So it still doesn't work.

But thanks for trying to help :)

The fake UCDS adapters or UCDS pro+ will only read DTCs.
Totally useless, throw it in the bin and get an OBDlink EX.

@davetcollection I disagree. Many people use ucds pro + without any problems.

@fordsmax471 thanks!! I sat all options in the way You showed on the screen and now it works!
Looks like it is maaaaaaany times faster than my STN1170 elm. For example reading central config (bcmii) in my Ford Focus takes much less time than on STN1170.

Thanks!

Yes, very fast at reading, mine is also. Just wait till you try to write something, it just freezes.

I face same problem. Had copied .dll file to forscan directory, as well to system32 directory.
