Please help...
I bought new laptop, installed latest version of Forscan (2.3.53) but cannot connect to the car with MS mode. HS mode is working correctly. Old laptop is working correctly with Forscan for both modes - HS and MS. I have USB ELM327 v1.5a with manually added switch. Both laptops (old and new) are using W10, drivers for the ELM are correctly installed and its the same version and date of its update. I tried to install the same older Forscan version (2.3.51) to new PC, no change. I tried to uninstall and re-install Forscan on new laptop, no change.
After HS scan Forscan is asking for MS switch, I do it and confirm its done and then it colaps at APIM with message that APIM codes cannot be read.
I tried several other possible connections with different interfaces (bluetooth, wifi), always the same result - only HS is possible. But old laptop is still working correctly...
Do you have an idea what could be a problem here? Thank you!

Re: Unable to connect to MS mode with new laptop
This one I tried as well. The same result. Only HS working... There must be something into new laptop setup blocking MS mode...

Re: Unable to connect to MS mode with new laptop
Please, try this algorithm:
1. Throw the ELM327 v1.5a with manually added switch in the trash.
2. Use OBDLink EX only.
3. Remove vehicle profile before connect (Vehicles->Profiles, delete vehicle from the list).
4. Connect to vehicle.
Re: Unable to connect to MS mode with new laptop
Did it again and now its working with OBDlink as well as with my ELM327... strange. It looks the problem was with car profile. When I deleted it I see both modes results with no error... Thank you for your help and direction, appreciate it!
