ELM327 connection?

Post by Slow87GT »

Won’t connect to car
Says “checking WiFi”
Then
Says “no adaptor found. Please check connection and try again”

We could be a lot more helpful if you had posted what adapter(Wired, Bluetooth, WIFI, Clone ELM327 OBDLINK MX+ EX etc. and from where you got it) that you are attempting to connect! Just saying "ELM327 connection" in the post title tells us nothing!
Do not PM me as I am not an Admin nor am I a member of the FORScan Team and all questions should be asked and answered on the Open Forum so all can benefit!

It’s a washinglee elm 327
I’m Kind of frustrated so I returned it

Now my tuner (ucal) can’t talk to the pcm but if I plug in a generic global scanner I can pull engine codes and read engine data
I checked all fuses
I wonder if I have to dig deeper?
It’s a 2018 mustang with 12k miles

I might order a different but not sure what’s best

I’m thinking about trying an iPhone version
Is there one that’s good?
