Very new to forscan and looking to be pointed in right

Post by Lance954rr » Tue Jan 02, 2018 4:03 am

Hey everyone! I'm very new to forscan, I've been reading up quite a few pages and posts but am looking to be pointed in the right direction for an ODB scanner.

Would something like this work off Amazon?

A MILLION "THANK YOU"s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This should be in some high profile FAQ as difficult as it was to get. I can't say it works 100%, but I installed the driver and the ELM is found. It says it can't connect to the vehicle, but the adapter is not plugged in (I just tried it here in the office).

I expect it to work since the driver was for my exact adapter model.

Again, THANK YOU!

And I can now say it works 100%.

Now for the next issue - is the OEM remote start as flaky as I've been reading it is? But, at least the keyless entry works reliably.

Thanks again, Lance!
