I hope this helps, I am not expert at this by any means. Thanks to livinitup and Don Ridley for taking their time posting helpful info. I just changed my acm out on my 2019 F150 to gain hd radio. I printed the as built data for my vin from the Ford maintenance website. Because it was difficult to find a late model acm similar to the 2018/2019 JL3Z-18C869-FJ ( hd/sat radio model) I swapped in a 2016 acm from a Lincoln Mkz. I went into the ACIM and changed 7D0-01-01 from 2A2A 0006 0033 to 2A2A 0007 0033 to turn on hd radio single climate control. Restarted the truck and radio worked but had no volume control (full volume). I then tried to load my as built ACM file previously saved into the used acm to no avail. It seems like Forscan gives you a file opening error is the module entries are vastly different between each other. I then went into the used Lincoln acm and manually changed 727-01-01 through 727-04-01 to match the printed as built for my vehicle. After doing this the volume worrked and I had hd radio but no presets would work and some of the on screen menu items did not work. I reset the sync3 by hitting power and forward button for 5 seconds (reboot) and all controls returned with the exception of the presets. The major difference that I found was that my original acm had only four lines 727-01-01 through 727-04-01 and the older acm has 727-01-01 through 727-08-04 with the latter lines of code from 727-05 being for presets. I gathered that by studying livinitup’s spreadsheets. Sadly everything works fine except the presets. It appears that the new acm does not have presets controlled from within. The older one does and therefore seems to be the conflict. I assume that finding a closer match to my original KL3T-18D832-BH non hd radio would resolve this problem.
I have run into that same issue. I currently have a 2016 acm that Sirius will work with but like stated above none of the presets work at all. I finally sourced a 2019 acm with sat. But something must have changed from 18' to 19'. I have made the correct forscan changes in the 19' acm but I can not even get the Sirius preview channel to be found. It's like it's not recognizing the antenna. When I unplug the Sirius antenna from the 16' acm it says antenna fault. When I unplug the 19' it says nothing. I have actually tried a different 19' acm previously with the same results. I picked up a second one as I wanted to be sure the first 19' acm wasn't just malfunctioning.

Has anyone had any luck figuring this out?

Same boat. Was thinking I'd be a smart guy and pick up an as new as possible APIM. Has an 8/19 build date and updated maps. Problem is the presets on my radio don't work. Must be an 18-19 change. I noticed the AB data for a 19 includes more data in the ACM than the pre19s.

I got it working! I have a new address for the APIMs:

7D0-02-02 xxxx xx8x xxxx MULTI MODE PRESET 8 = on 0 = off

On SYNC V3.3 which is in 2019+ vehicles, this bit (high bit, or 8 in that nibble) sets the "Multi Mode Preset" mode where you can store both AM FM and Sirius stations on the same presets. Unfortunately this appears to be incompatible with the firmware in the 2018 and older ACMs. If you set this bit to zero, the APIM goes back to the old non multi-mode preset ways and has 2 banks of presets for the AM stations, and 3 banks of presets for the FM stations. But all the preset goofiness I had before is gone. Hooray!

I can't thank you enough for figuring that out! I put that code in and it works! That solves allot of frustration..

So I am trying to upgrade to siriusxm instead of the sirius i have now. I did the antenna swap the splitter and used a 2019 focus acm in my stx. Have sirius currently. Got a 2019 f150 acm and have same problem as Chad no signal whatsoever. I have confirmed that a 2019 f150 stx can get siriusxm with the channels above 200s with the flat antenna. I am going to program a few .AB files that I have received from others with factory sirius. I beleive the changes are in the ACM and APIM. if that doesnt work it has to be a hardware issue blocking the signal
