Global opening and closing windows

Post by kirkie » Sun Mar 24, 2019 10:10 am

Hi all.

First time poster here. :D

I was wondering if someone could help me.

I have used programming devices on a few of my cars over the years. So I am comfortable with them. I got my forscan tool yesterday.

I have enabled a few nice features already. Mainly the anti hijack and disabled the most annoying one. Gear change indicator.

I am stumped though. I wanted to enable the global open and close of the windows. But I cannot see the option to.

Am I being dim or is it definitely there?

Thank you all in advance

Kind regards

Sean

All windows must have factory one touch open/close function for the global open/close to work.

if its anything like the focus:

ignition on
make sure all windows are up
press and hold all 4 window buttons down
when windows are all the way down, hold down for 10 seconds
then hold all 4 window buttons up
when all the way up hold the buttons up for 10 seconds
let go of buttons
ignition off
lock the car with the button
then press and hold the unlock button and they should all come down.

if you only want 1 or 2 windows to come down, just use those buttons for programming.

hope this helps

it should be an option on your IPC. If not look in the BCM module for it. I think forscan already have it as an option without needing the coding through asbuilt

Global closing on vehicles sold in the US is not enabled by the factory. Use Forscan to enable. For Focus and other euro models look under Bdycm Main.

i don't think it can be done on your year of fiesta the facelift have different door modules which do have global open/close and are not interchangable as i have tried it out.

I also have this problem. I could enable it in BCM, but the DDM and PDM modules are missing in my 2009 Fiesta, so it's not working. Is this because it's too old?
