2018 f-150 configuration and programming

Post by malogos » Wed Mar 20, 2019 7:10 pm

I don't know what is wrong, but my configuration and programming of forscan (version 2.3.20) is different than others. I cannot find the address and values which others found from their forscan. Also, after connected and ran the forscan, the disconnect button on the left bottom are not enable to click... so I have to disconnect my adaptor to end my forscan program.

that is the central configuration not the as built data with the address in it . just click what you want to edit then click the edit selected at the bottom left , edit the function then click write , thier is no disconnect because your not connected or doing anything until you have editted something .
before doing the above make sure to back up your as built data file (selected in the other window not the central configuration option you have clicked on ) or get a copy from the ford website.
i am the same as you just a forscan user still learning .

Thank your for your advise.
Do you know which one do I have to modify for making a bambi mode of 2018 f-150?
Youtube instruction said that modify 2nd BdyCM (address is 726-27-01, xxxx xxx0 01xx), but I don't know which one to edit from my central configuration and programming screen.

Have a read here:

Shoutout to whoever made that google docs. Used it for a few options and after I got myself a MS/HS can adapter, everything worked great. Much appreciated. Cant help the OP though if you can't figure out how to get into adjust the as built data, chances are you shouldnt be touching it. Worst case scenario, back up stock files and double check your entries.
