Does anyone know what do i have to change in Acm to get the center speaker working? I have a 19 f250 stx that was prewired for a center speaker, I bought a lariat speaker and installed but is not working. I’m sure is possible to be added on but I don’t know how and i can’t find the numbers anywhere for 2017 and up that i have to change.
I posted the same question recently for my 17 stx , its an as built issue, I actually work for a ford dealership doing ac/electrical but my scan tool does not allow me to change as built from a different vehicle , ford would have to send a patch that can be installed using an ids , I also have tried using forscan and enter as built data from trucks with the center channel speaker and it didn't work , what I ended up doing was swapping the acm from a truck that was a buy back and was equipped , I took the acm to the parts dept and everything is the same except for the engineering number , it has to do with as built , sorry answer is so long but what i'm gonna do is message the ford technical hotline and use my vin to see if they can provide me with a patch to program my acm , and any dealership you go to will have the same issue ,because even though it works now, if my acm goes bad and I install a new one I will loose the center channel speaker , or unless someone here comes up with the as built needed , hope this helps
As far as i know you should be able to do this with ForScan but i do not know the code. If you look on the forscan guide group on facebook or on g2fusions.net website and find the spreadsheets for the f150 that should have the information you need in the APIM module.
I tried about 4 different ones from the fusion ones that you are talking about , unless i'm missing something or doing it wrong I couldn't do it , i'm sure its as-built that is preventing it from working , I,'ll keep looking and if I find them i'll post it
did you have any luck getting it to work?
