I'll be trying to add the remote start with stock keys. I'll let you know if it works.

As for the dealer saying it can't be done, I don't believe them. I was told putting stock cruise control on my 2019 f350 wasn't possible, I just did it yesterday.

Any luck?

<< This thing is so sensitive that thunder, loud exhausts, doors shutting in the next parking spot, etc... set it off regularly. It's annoying. >>
If you have the VSS system installed under the dash by the OBD2 port, JS7Z-19A361, there is a sensitivity knob you can adjust.
Increase (rotate clockwise), decrease sensitivity rotate counter-clockwise.

Good luck!

I bought a remote start key for my 2017 F250 XLT. I have truck programmed and the key is synced into the PAST system and will start the truck. Is anyone having issues getting the key to work for the door locks and the start function. I cannot get the truck to pickup the fob. I have the remote start all enabled in the truck but the fob is not working. I have the switch blade key.

I am seeing that the original key fob might be 315mhz and the remote start key is 900 something Mhz.

Has anyone had the issue with the key or have they gotten the remote start fob key to work with the XLT truck. ect...

Thanks

2017 F250 XLT 6.7l

I did all this on my 2013 F150 and it work flawlessly.

IF you have two keys .that came with truck new .take them and new key out to truck. turn key # 1 that came from truck when bought to run count 8 sec. turn off take it out .take key#2 turn to run 8 sec. turn off takeout .insert new key turn to run 8 sec. it should say key programmed in spedo .try to start .this should work!
