2006 Mazda 6 Alarm problem

Post by RYM6746 » Thu Jan 31, 2019 7:27 pm

Hi all I am new to the forum and have only just discovered forscan so you might have to bear with me. Don't worry I have lot's of experience with cars and scan tools. I have a customer that has a Mazda 6 and the alarm intermittently goes off (once a month ish) I have disconnected the siren as a temporary repair but hazard lights still go off. No fault codes stored. He is more than happy to just programme it so it doesn't think it has an alarm anymore. Is this easily done with the forscan and does anyone know which module it's in and even better a guide on no alarm configuration. Thanks for your help in advance :D

Thanks for the advice but I was kind of hoping for a guide on how to tinker with the mazda alarm configuration. its not so much the alarm that's the problem its my lack of forscan configuration knowledge and the willingness to learn how to install and un install features into different vehicles. I'm just using this mazda as a good practice run
