CC and other module programming for EU(IT) Kuga MY2017

Post by lskg » Mon Feb 05, 2018 8:45 pm

Hi to all and many thanks to FORScan guys for their amazing work.

I'm a newbie to FORScan, but i use it without problem (good usb obd2 module, 2.3.12 version and now 2.3.13 version with extended license, vbf file, ecc).
I've successfully made some mod on my car APIM to activate Clima Control and ST logo splash screen on Sync 3.

I can read without problem at CC of my car, but what i don't understand is if CC programming in FORScan is fully compatible with my car; I see many parameters with their default values, but i don't know if this parameters and their default/alternative values are correctly mapped for my car.
In another thread and another forum i've read that for my car the only things avalaible for change with FORScan are Clima Control and ST logo (APIM), but i think that if i see the CC programming page in FORScan then i can use it to mod the CC.

Some explanation? (and sorry for my poor english).
And sorry for cross posting (i write all the same in pinned topic "How to program Central Configuration using FORScan")

Thank you.

Hi to all.
I did some tests and I'll continue to do.
I'll share my esperiences here for those interested.

BdyCM CC (Main) - Automatic locking by speed
Never seen before in other forums for my car, I have successfully activated this option, set to "Automatic locking".
Automatic locking occurs at 11-12 Km/h.
Now the procedure at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9VXONMv7OM is working and I can activate or disactivate the option.

APIM - Climate button on Sync 3 screen
7D0-01-02: xxxx x3xx xxxx

APIM - See set climate temperature on Sync 3 screen
7D0-04-01: xxxx xxx0 xxxx

APIM - Set Ford ST logo as boot/shutdown screen on Sync 3 screen
7D0-02-01: xxxx 0Bxx xxxx
This is, for me, the most enjoyable logo.
There is no way, apparently, to combine/force this logo with Ford GT Theme.

APIM - Set Ford GT Theme on Sync 3 screen
7D0-03-01: xxxx 04xx xxxx
This is, for me, the most enjoyable and readable theme.
There is no way, apparently, to combine/force this theme with Ford ST Logo.

APIM - Set Ford GT logo as boot/shutdown screen on Sync 3 screen
7D0-02-01: xxxx 0Dxx xxxx

If there is someone that would contribute with other working options/parameters with the same car, then I'll collect them in this thread.

Regards.

I had information on this topic on http://www.idaf.it.
I was interested in auto lock.
I had seen the video, but it did not work on mine.

The operations shown do not involve Forscan.

Mine is a European version 2017 (Italy). What version did you manage to make the procedure shown in the video?

Title of the topic is "CC and other module programming for EU(IT) Kuga MY2017"!
As i've clearly written, the Ford procedure become working after programming BdyCM CC (Main): "Automatic locking by speed" parameter set to "Automatic locking".

It seems to me that it is sufficiently clear...

Hi to all.
I've updated the list with the parameter to force GT logo with the GT theme.
