Adjust autolamp sensitivity?

Post by cr08 » Thu Nov 30, 2017 9:14 pm

Curious if anyone has tackled this or looked into it. Got a 2013 C-Max Energi (North America model) and while I do like having the autolamp feature, I do wish the sensitivity could be adjusted. Seems like it must get pretty dark before it kicks on and I'd prefer it when it is just a little lighter out.

I am not aware of a configuration setting to adjust the sensitivity. What can be done is shorten the time for the auto light to go on from 20 seconds to around 3 seconds.
For adjusting the sensitivity you probably would need to tweak the sensor. It might be as simple as adding am adjustable resistor in parallel to the existing light sensor...

Cheers

Is it possible to change the sensitivity without adding hardware ?
