Helpful links on As Built configuration and programming

Post by FORScan »

Here are some very helpful resources created by enthusiasts:

Note: As Built format function was first of all designed for restoring factory configuraiton (As Built data). It was not designed for custom configuration. For inexperienced users we strongly recommend to use Module Configuration functions in FORScan that lists the configuration parameters in a user friendly way.

1. Tutorials:

Great FORScan tutorial created by Livnitup from F-150 forum. It was developed for F-150, but the principle of work with As Built data can be applied to any model.

2. As Built decodings

2011-2014 F-150 by unknown author

2015+ F-150s created by Livnitup from F-150 forum.

2013+ Fusion created by DanMc85 from 2GFusions forum.

2011+ Explorer's created by PlatinumOwner from the Explorer forum

2017+ Ford Super Duty models F250, F350 and F450 created by EpicCowlick from Ford Trucks forum.

2013+ Ford Flex FORScan mod spreadsheet - not maintained anymore.

2010+ Ford Taurus FORScan mod spreadsheet - page seems to be removed by authors. If you know new address, please let us know.

As Built Explorer by Jesse Yeager. This tool helps to compare, analyse and explore As Built data. Motorcraft's *.AB and and FORScan's *.ABT formats are supported.

Trial and error. A lot of the stuff is the same across multiple platforms, try it and you'll know if it works or not fairly quick.

Make sure you back up your existing configuration data before you play around with it.

Hallo zusammen....

Vielen Dank!!!
