Hi There,

I am trying to clear ABS & TCS fault codes and at the same time activate fog lamp switch and auto-lock function.

I followed instructions from this thread. I've downloaded FORScan version 2.3.16 beta for Windows and got the Extended License applied.

However, once connected to my vehicle (Fiesta TiVCT, Year 2010) I noticed only PCM & OBDII modules being detected.

Under DTC no faults were listed but ABS & TSC in instrument cluster are lit.

Then in Config & Programming, there is nothing to choose

I noticed it doesn't load / detect BCM module. Is that the reason I cannot change config ?
How about not being able to read active DTC / MIL ?

Hi, 2017 Ford Focus here. I'm not able to get into central configuration, getting loading sbl failed message. It can't read block 1/6 then says service interrupted. Anyone can help?

From reading other users reporting similar issues, I feel like that Forscan doesn't work well with newer model year cars. Most users reporting similar issues have 2017/2018 cars.

I take back what I said. I was using a Bluetooth one and kept getting that error. After buying a USB scanner and I was able to read the central configuration.

Does anyone know whether the Mazda 3 BL model (2009-2013) has central configuration?

Its hard to see whether it is used or not.

If I download the as-built configuration from Mazda, there is a CCC section and it does have content. In contrast the BK Mazda 3 does not have this section.

When I access the vehicle with Forscan, however, there is no CCC module visible. (I do have access to both MS-CAN and HS-CAN buses)

Anyone know?

Thanks.

Focus 2016 MK3 5 Door

So had a look through the guide and managed to download the zip file (not from Ford technical as have no access to that) and extracted them to the correct folder.

Again on running the service procedure for the BCM (main) it’s coming up with message..

‘Secondary boot loader file not found error opening file GV6T-14C097-AA.VBF.’

It’s offered to download the file but not sure on that until I know what it’s doing.
