Using Central Configuration to upgrade from Sync 1 to Sync 3

Post by chief_bs » Sat Nov 25, 2017 1:40 am

I am considering doing this mod on my 2016 Focus MK 3.5. Once I get it installed and run Central Configuration, will it read the new APIM and give me options to activate it? Right now, my current Sync 1 APIM only gives me the options for non-touch. In would much prefer to do it with Central Configuration than to try to individually configure each APIM address. Please let me know. Thanks!

Sir,so sorry to bother u.For i use FORScan not too long ,i'v got a trouble like follows,Please give me a hand,thanks a lot .
When i try to run CC function with the new transit,i meet "Loading SBL To Primary module",file name seems like BK2*-******-**.VBF,and i have got the AB file from Ford ETIS,but i dont known how can i get the VBF file with the AB file or i cant do this.
By the way,i cant see the Function behaviour mode choice on my CC screen, like Normal mode/Engineering mode 1/Engineering mode 2,i dont known why.Look forward to your reply, thanks again.

Central Configuration for EU(IT) Kuga MY2017

Post by lskg » Mon Feb 05, 2018 7:17 pm

Hi to all and many thanks to FORScan guys for their amazing work.

I'm a newbie to FORScan, but i use it without problem (good usb obd2 module, 2.3.12 version and now 2.3.13 version with extended license, vbf file, ecc).
I've successfully made some mod on my car APIM to activate Clima Control and ST logo splash screen on Sync 3.

I can read without problem at CC of my car, but what i don't understand is if CC programming in FORScan is fully compatible with my car; I see many parameters with their default values, but i don't know if this parameters and their default/alternative values are correctly mapped for my car.
In another thread and another forum i've read that for my car the only things avalaible for change with FORScan are Clima Control and ST logo (APIM), but i think that if i see the CC programming page in FORScan then i can use it to mod the CC.

Some explanation? (and sorry for my poor english).

Thank you.

Coding Kuga mk2 2015 Auto doorlocking.

Post by gasguzzlers » Sun Feb 11, 2018 10:09 pm

Hi everyone.
I have been a member for a while and have searched and tried various ways to activate autolocking on my Kuga 2 when moving off but until now it has not worked.
I managed to activate it using Foccus software and then clearing down the many faults that this caused in the BCM/PCM/TCM etc with FORscan.
I carry out a lot of coding on various cars but coding my Kuga's BCM with the whole dash shutting down for a couple of minutes and then coming back alive with multiple codes and messages makes your heart miss a beat, even though they have all cleared and reset.
If anyone needs any help coding this feature on their Kuga mk2 let me know. :D
