Daytime lamps?

Post by brummiejim »

Hi,

Novice question maybe....

I wanted to switch off my daytime running lights.

First time I’ve had a go at this, I read all the info and did the job (I think) 👍

My only question is that I thought there would be an option for ‘none’

The only option I thought suitable from the displayed list was ‘not configured’

Everything seems to work so far.

I noticed the in body control I get a fault now (wasn’t there before) I’m guessing here my choice of setting is to blame?

Anybody else had this issue? Nothing seems wrong on the van.

It’s a 2012 swb standard 2.2

Cheers,
Jim

You're in the Euro zone? Canada, Australia?
Why disable the DRL system?
If you are, that model is adapted for Day Time Running Lights.
Post a screen image of the fault at the BCM out of curiosity.
Reset / adapt the original function and test again.
Post your results and image.

Hi,

I’m in the uk.

I just wanted the lights to operate normally, I’ve never been a fan of daytime lamps to be honest.

I’ll check as soon as I can.

Thanks for the info/help.

Cheers,
Jim
