Headlight warning message

Post by rngshelton »

I have a 2010 Explorer Sport Trac. Previous owner installed LED headlights. I like them but I would like to stop the "Check LEFT and RIGHT Headlight" messages every time I turn them on. I can see in the list of dashboard items the headlight current. It reports just over 1.1 amps.
Can I change the required trip level of that alarm to be happy at that current?? OR can I remove the alarm all together??

I have ,so far, used Forscan to find my keyless entry code and to perform an ABS brake bleed. The brake bleed brought my pedal feel back to normal.

I'd love to find a spreadsheet for the Explorer Sport Trac Limited...

Thanks,
Gary
