GMprog

Post by Airborne_Ape »

This topic might get taken down by the admins because it's not Ford related, but I think it's still worth mentioning here given the expertise of all the users who collaborate on these forums.

It's been brought to my attention that someone is working to create a GM/Chevy/Buick/Opel/Vauxhall equivalent of ForScan.
It appears to have the potential to become great but the project is barely off the ground and soldering skills are required to get started. At least it can be said that someone on the planet tried and has been successful at programming GM ECU's with a self-made program.

There's a lot of Russian users on here so maybe some of you might have an interest or something to contribute to GMprog. In a perfect world, the ForScan developers could buy their development code and merge the two products, I know that's extraordinary wishful thinking, but it's Christmas and some of us still believe in Santa.

FYI, I have no affiliation to GMProg it's just a very interesting program someone brought to my attention.
