DTC in PAM: U2101:00-2B (Control Module Configuration Incompatible)

Post by Ripped »

I updated the PAM in my daughters 2017 Mustang and once it completed, I get DTC in PAM: U2101:00-2B (Control Module Configuration Incompatible). I applied the As-Built data to the PAM, but the DTC is still showing up. Configuration file no longer shows a file number.

Any guidance is appreciated. Perhaps if I had these files, including the config file, I could reload them?

I had a similar issue. I used the wrong configuration file for ECU Configuration (F10A). It left me where I was unable to select the correct file as the UI no longer allowed me to select a file after it displayed "PAM-Default-Config-12ch"

I got lucky on this one. I went into the PAM firmware update and forgot to have the ignition on, since Forscan couldn't communicate with my car it loaded the values from my profile. After the UI was loaded I was able to select the correct files and reprogram the firmware. Hope this helps someone.
