Police mode Europe engine running

Post by adamfarmiloe » Tue Nov 12, 2019 11:52 pm

Hi I have just seen some YouTube about police mode (US) when you walk away leaving the engine running but the keys are with you the gear box locks etc so no one can drive it away just wondering if this is available for the European market passive keys ??

I'm not entirely sure how it works with passive keys, but the vehicles with traditional keys have an aftermarket modification where a red button will allow the engine to run while locking the steering and shift interlock while the keys are not in the ignition. Have not seen a factory version of this.
