Add Bluetooth Device while moving

Post by mtmarks » Mon Aug 26, 2019 2:52 am

I have a 2018 Fusion Hybrid with SYNC3 no navigation. I'm looking for a way to be able to connect Bluetooth devices (phones) to the vehicle while in motion. Searched through threads but can't find an answer. Is this possible to do?

**I drive for UBER and want my passengers to be able to connect to my car via Bluetooth without having to pull over.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure why you'd want this, but if it's to allow them to play music through the car's sound system, then an external bluetooth receiver that plugs into the aux port might be your best bet.

Not completely certain about this but it might be the "do not touch" features in the US versions of the Sync 3 which disable controls while in motion.

Don't know the correct settings but you can look it up on the forum and other sites for the navigation version which is identical on the inside except for some memory and the map of course. I'm almost certain this has something to do with it.
