Front light sensitivity Ford Fusion SE 2014

Post by owerwriter15 » Wed Aug 21, 2019 5:07 pm

Hello everyone,

I recently bought the US Version of the 2014 Ford Fusion SE 2,5l as a used car in Germany.

I'm struggeling with the autolamp feature. I'm used to have a very sensitive car before when it comes to lightning which I really liked.
The sensor takes about 15 second to activate the headlights. Which is way to long in my opion.

I tried to adjust this (found it for the F-150):

"726-26-01 xxx* xxxx xxxx
Ambient Light Sensor Type Cfg: 0=Slow_FNA, 1=Fast_Row
0=15 seconds delay turning on headlamps when dark, 1=2
seconds delay turning on headlamps when dark"

But that didnt work for me. Is there any other way?

Have you tried 726-26-01 or 726-36-01?

The sensor is not the problem. I tested it by covering it and stopped the time. Always after about 15 seconds the light went on

For Fusion 2013 the coding is 31-01 and for 2014+ 26-01. I don't know what the problem is. For which a quick change of lights does not work. Anyone have any idea or experience to solve this problem ??? :(
