Battery Chargers and Forscan

Good evening,

I've been using Forscan for some time now with just the basic features and now I'm wanting to get more into the programming side, going from the Mondeo MK4 to the MK5 the programming is slightly different to say the least.

I'm wanting to enable the Cross Traffic Alert on my Mondeo, I've got all of the BLIS hardware and for some reason it's not enabled, on my first go at trying to enable this I managed to do the first SODL but then when moving onto the SODR I got the message about the battery voltage being low and am I sure I want to continue, well on a car that's new to me and a warning like that I decided to decline, so my questions are as follows;

What battery charger are people using when they are coding with Forscan, there doesn't seem to be a 100% answer from people and then at that point do I leave it connected whilst I'm working on the car? is it safe to do so? these probably sound like newbie questions but really it's because I love the car so much I'd hate to screw it up!

Thanks in advance!

I use a Benton intelligent charger whilst programming with forscan. I connect and switch on the charger even before I connect the PC, also ensure that the radio, fan, climate control or any other current draining device is switched off. Works for me.
