Copy calibration data from a 99-04 Mustang Cluster???

Post by tke499 » Thu Nov 07, 2019 3:39 pm

Ok, so I have a 2000 Mustang GT Saleen. These cars came with a 200 mph cluster. Saleen no longer calibrates them as their "machine" is broke. I am wondering, can forscan copy that speedo and RPM calibration data from one cluster and paste it onto another? I am asking because I have one cluster that works, but the "EE level" reads fail and the fuel gauge wont go below half, and I have another cluster where everything works, but the speedo and RPM's read all wrong.

Hoping someone can shed some light and POSSIBLY be able to do this as I am not the only one with this problem and would help a lot of other Saleen owners.

Thanks!

No. Forscan can't write firmware to the IPC. You may have luck using Focccus software. It was made for pre-2015 Focus and may work. I read a long thread where someone upgraded the firmware (calibration) but they seemed to know a lot about this process. It's not simple and can take hours for a single write.
