Hello people
Are there any plans to include the ability to read the RCM module or reset crash flag data via OBD2?
The car is a 2012 Mazda 3.
Thanks

Crash event has to be reset using service function "Crash Flag Reset" in FORScan. The function is available only for European models. For Mondeo 4, Smax and Galaxy crash has to be reset in RCM, then (if necessary) in BCM module. DTCs must be cleared after crash reset. Using service tool, crash can be reset up to 5 times, then RCM module has to be replaced or cleared directly in EEPROM using special equipment.

Re: Forscan tools to read RCM module
Thanks for the response. After the forscan several error codes appeared in the RCM.
Attached below.
Like you said deleting the codes or resetting via the app doesn't work. The codes come straight back. The car is a U.S Mazda 3. I couldn't see any option to crash flag reset that is supposed to be available on European models.
I'll take out the RCM and wipe the eprom but was just wondering:
Once the Eprom is wiped will all these codes also disappear? The codes refer to other parts of the safety system not in the RCM. For example if the RCM is wiped, but there is still a problem with the seat belt pretensioners, will that write another hard code into the RCM which will then require another wipe of the RCM.
Or can forscan still delete codes for auxiliary safety systems and sensors.
