All of the items can be set easily via configuration menu - there is no need to do it via AS BUILT.
It´s way easier and safer version for this kind of modifications

The Focus MK4 isn't fully compatible with Forscan
I think it may depend on what lead you are using.

While I was using ELM I would agree, but since I've been using OBDLink EX all the modules now show up
With the OBDLink EX there aren't more modules for my Focus MK4 1.5 TDCI 150. I removed the older profile and created a new one : not more module with my new OBDLink EX with the lastest firmware.

If you are using an Adapter without a HS/MS Switch you will only see around half of the modules.
If you have an Adapter with a HS/MS Switch you should see all of the modules - so the same as with OBDLink EX Adapater.

Here an overview over the modules which you should see (for sure it depends on your configuration)

I can confirm, i am running 2 laptops one with Forscan vers 2.4.3 beta and a 2nd with 2.3.41 and using a 8 year old adaptor with the hs/ms switch (apparently new adaptors are rubbish) both versions see all modules and can make changes to them, I've done numerous changes all work on Focus mk4 and Fiesta mk8 as should, apart from reverse camera but thats a diff story!!?
