Re: Cant get PCM configuration to work

I think this function is so new, it needs a bit more work. It does state "test mode". I've also tried it on 2 different vehicles. On my 2005 Grand marquis, I don't even get a PCM config. On the 2013 mustang, the PCM config is blank, and the "asbuilt" config gives me access to block1 and block2, but ...

VCMII clone with Forscan not working

Here is where I'm at: Installed VCM/Bosch drivers package. Connect VCMII usb, windows finds VCM, installs drivers. Connect OBDII cable to car, VCMII lights indicate car&PC connections good. Start Forscan, select connection type. (tried Auto and VCM specific) All looks great until I try to connect to...

Re: 2007 Mustang GEM/SJB changes

Thanks for all the information on this thread. I'm trying to disable TPMS on my 2008 Mustang GT. I changed the last section on the 726-01-01 to 81xx and 80xx to no avail. Also, when trying to change the placard, I don't get an option for 0. Lowest mine show is 30psi. Does the placard have to be set...

managed to get my truck logged on and managed to get the tyre pressure monitor fault light turned off.
Interesting you had to remove the PCM. Any car I've ever worked on, (Ford) the code was always visible.

Glad you got it fixed!

Re: Pcm codes

Try the TearTag code. From the sticker on the PCM.

Re: 2007 Mustang GT with Roush Supercharger

Yes. Forscan can't recognize your PCM due to the Roush calibration. The PCM is the "gateway" to the other modules. Forscan would not connect to my 2007 Coyote swapped car. The Forscan team hooked me up with a special version and I've been having fun configuring stuff, turning useless things off, etc...

Re: Unable to identify vechicle

I suspect you have a tune on it. Revert back to stock and see if Forscan can Id the car. That said, it is probably not a big deal to fix as-is. Contact the Forscan team, they will ask you for logs from Forscan and most likely fix the issue. They hooked me up, pretty quick too. Even IDS has trouble c...

Re: Whipe out my PCM

Yea, the china clone (v103) I think will work up to 2015 so they claim. Worked fine for me on all vehicles I connected to with it. Worked for programming my VIN into my 2013 PCM. But I had to manually download As-built, and other files for mine. (IDS prompted for what files were not in the cal folde...

Re: Whipe out my PCM

No, not with Forscan.

You need Ford IDS to reflash your PCM. (if it is still ok hardware wise)

Re: Racecar modifications.... Help please

2014 Mustang, being turned into a race car.........Ford offers a control pack for stand alone race cars, that are Coyote driven and use the factory IPC... in those scenarios, there are no airbag lights or seat belt minders. Considering that information.... these fields live somewhere in Forscan, bu...
