Re: 2015 Mustang GT No Low Fuel Warning

Are you sure you ran it low enough on fuel?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the Sync system or 2015 mustangs to be of much help. There aren't many mustang guys on this board.

Re: My Ford PATS Success Story

When you initiate key programming, even with Ford IDS, you get a warning that this operation will take ten minutes. Once the timer runs out, you have a fixed amount of time to program each key. I've only programmed keys using IDS, but I think the timer is not in the software, it is in the PATS modul...

Re: Coyote swap turning off functions

PATS is not an issue, currently operational as a factory setup I was able to delete some of the warning lights last time I played with it. I believe traction control has been defeated, just working on SRS and ABS at this point. Unfortunately I'm kinda in "uncharted" territory because deleting ABS a...

Re: No Configuration and Programming Section

There is a way to turn off the seat belt minder without any tools! I know, I've done it to all my Fords. I'm not sure of the exact steps, but it is listed in your owner's manual. You have to do it for each side driver's and passenger's. From what I recall, you cycle the ignition key on/off so many t...

Re: 2009 F150 STX low battery voltage

Check what battery voltage is being seen by the PCM with live data stream in Forscan. With the charger on engine off, you should be seeing 13v or higher in live data.

Re: No Configuration and Programming Section

Is there any reason the Configuration and Programming section is completely blank? Any help would be appreciated! Yes. There is probably not much that can be configured on that car. 1998 is a pretty early OBDII car, I don't even think it has can bus. (used to have a 98 GM, but I never tried to conn...

Re: Car won't start after replacing ECU

How did you program your VIN into the replacement PCM? While mine is slightly different situation with the engine swap, I have programmed my 2007 VIN into my coyote PCM. Have a 2013 cluster that I had temporarily wired in (it does work) and programmed my keys to PATS and the car started. But I did a...

Re: Forscan on Mac

Don't have any experience with wine, but in windows, the license key file adds registry entry. My guess is you need to find a way to do that in wine.

Re: Dealer turned off my CEL but did not fix the problem

"1. I scanned for faults and the truck is throwing P0316 - Misfire in first 1000 revs. However the indicator for this fault has been disabled. So my light should be on, but I believe it was disabled at the dealer." I don't believe the dealer has the ability to disable any fault codes. I have IDS and...

Re: Coyote swap turning off functions

My swap is in a mustang, so it's a bit different than yours. But I maybe able to offer some help. There are two ways to get around PATS without having it functioning. There are serveral ppl offering a PATS delete service. You have to send them your PCM, and they flash it to delete pats. This service...
