Re: Changing TPMS tire pressure

A mechanic buddy of mine was telling me he has been seeing for vans come through the shop with E150 badges and 8 lug suspensions. It seems Ford "used up" inventory of the vans toward the end of the body change over to the new body style. So is this E150 and 8 lug van? My guess it is, and infact you ...

Anyone?
Look at the pic above. The test is under the "clipboard" looking tab in the left column.

Re: Can I perform: misfire monitor neutral profile correction?

I have not seen that test in Forscan when connected to my '13. Do you have an SCT tuner? That device has the "crank relearn" function and it WORKS RELIABLY. I've come across some threads on the net that stated even Ford IDS had issues with this function, and you end up with a "crank sensor not learn...

Red X over VCM, Forscan hangs

Made some progress with my VCM II (clone) and Forscan, but still can't connect. When I try to connect to the car, Forscan Device Manager window pops up showing a pic of the VCM II with a big red X on it. Bottom right I have two buttons, Ok & Cancel. "Ok" is greyed out. I've tried to change connectio...

Re: 2007 Explorer Programming

Sorry, I don't know.
But, the 5 digit door code is usually also on a sticker on the trunk hinges of cars. Maybe it is on the tailgate hinge on the xplr? There is a sticker somewhere in the back of the vehicle, I'm sure.

Re: 2007 Mustang GT with Roush Supercharger

The only way I see correcting the speedo is either sending the PCM out to fix the gear ratio/tire size OR get a tuner (SCT, Diablo, or HP tuners). Those costs around $750 to have full access to the tune with those solutions. That's a lot of cash to spend on just correcting the speedo, and I'm just n...

Re: 2007 Mustang GT with Roush Supercharger

Yes. Forscan can't recognize your PCM due to the Roush calibration. The PCM is the "gateway" to the other modules. Forscan would not connect to my 2007 Coyote swapped car. The Forscan team hooked me up with a special version and I've been having fun configuring stuff, turning useless things off, et...

Re: SCP network monitoring

Sorry, I can't answer your question on the SCP network. But, I do have a suggestion that is easy to try. Unplug your alternator's regulator connection and see if that makes a difference. I recently fixed a weird electrical issue with similar symptoms that turned out to be voltage back feeding from a...
