Re: PATS Key reset

I'm also very interested in this as well. I'm one of those people who only got 1 key when the car was bought and while I am fairly diligent about where my key is at all times it would be nice to have a spare available. Don't know what PATS system the US Mk1 Focus (2007, I believe first year in the ...

Re: Error DTC:B1261. Solar radiation sensor. Perform selftes

The application Forscan has detected the following error (DTC: B1261-FF), in my Mazda CX7 Diesel 2.2. It seems that the error is due to solar sensor (Solar radiation sensor circuit short to ground). In the workshop manual, the procedure to try to check the solar sensor says (Forscan says something ...

Re: FUEL ADDITIVE LEVEL DATA RESET[MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)]

DPF reset functions for Mazda should be available in the next release (2.1.19) FACM functions for Ford and Mazda are in nearest development plans, there is a chance they will be included in the next release as well. By the way, we would appreciate if some one send us (by email) logs from Mazda 3 wit...

Re: Mazda - INJx_CMP as integer values?!?

INJx_CMP are reported as integer values, while they are injection volume corrections in mm^3/stroke, and are typically much less than 1, but different from 0. Typically they are reported with a precision of 0.01 mm^3/stroke. What is wrong exactly, only measurement unit (integer instead of mm^3/stro...

Re: FORScan does not start : FXList::setCurrentItem: index o

This seems to be a GUI bug and most likely it is not related to the version of OS or language. Most likely, it is related to the environment or vehicle (some specific conditions it happens in). Please tell us, at what moment does the error appear (start app, connect to ELM, connect to vehicle, any s...

Re: What can FORSCAN do?

In simple words, FORScan tries to implement functions that are available in professional scanners (like Ford IDS, M-MDS, Launch etc), and sometimes slightly more. It is now somewhere in the middle of this way between regular OBDII scanners (like ScanMaster ELM and Torque) and professional ones, and ...

Re: DP_DPF values

We have no calibration data for this PID, but from our experience the diff pressure on clean DPF should not be greater than 5 kPa (in any mode )

Re: Fuel Injector Correction factor TDCI

I am the owner of Ford S-MAX, Duratorq TDCI 2.0, 103kW, 2009. ... But I was interested in values of "injectors correction factor". However I am not able to find these values. This engine has no indvidual injector codes. Instead of, it has so-called classification number. It means that all injectors...
