Re: relearning pats 2003 f150

Only Pats "A" systems allow reprogram using 1 key. Only a few vehicles from 96-98 had this system. A 2003 F150 has PATS "C" which needs 2 keys. By 2 keys it has to have 2 keys with different coded "keys". So you can't use a key and a cloned key because they have the same coded digital key. Here is s...

4 cylinder Rangers at that time don't have chipped keys. Only V6 ones did.

Re: Ford As Built Data Deciphering

Hi, just read through almost every post in this thread. It seems many people are simply trying to determine what code is tied to what function. Is there not a master list for each vehicle? I would imagine that this list exists and would answer a lot of questions. Or is it more complicated when you ...

Re: false alarm

Connect Goto Oscilloscope icon. Double click on a blank rectangle and a new popup comes up. For module look for BSM (body security module). Double click on each door switch status. Should be something like Driver Front Door Ajar switch status. Each time you double click the PID should show up on the...

Re: Activation needed for as-built manipulation?

Actually ClockWork wrote a program that compares ABD using ETIS information see what Bits/Bytes of the ABD corresponds with features. Throw in 20 cars, 10 with navigation, 10 without and ask it for the abd data difference for cars with navigation and it will narrow down what needs to be changed.

Re: Activation needed for as-built manipulation?

Most likely so that normal people don't get into ABD and screw up there vehicles messing around with settings they know nothing about. On your stock radio do you have an AUX button? Do you have a port? I don't think the AUX is an ABD modifiable variable. I think it maybe 100% hardware based. If you ...

Re: Ford As Built Data Deciphering

I want to make the whole program a little more user friendly. But I hate to tear apart something that's working well for the people that use it. And of course, motivation and free-time factor in. But most of the guys (and gals) that are using this tool probably don't need "user friendly." You don't...

Re: Need Help

What you need to program is the As built Data (also known as variant coding), this is what tells the module which features your car has. To program ABD you need to obtain an extended license. http://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=836 Also, can you communicate with your old BCM? If so you copy...
