Anybody tried the VXDIAG VCX NANO available for around $100 and works with IDS? Does it work with FORScan?

Re: 2.5L running rough and misfire

Logs sent. Let me know if they don't capture the problem. I could disconnect a fuel injector connector to generate another error if needed.

Re: 2.5L running rough and misfire

Replaced the fuel injector, running great.

Still would like to know if freeze frames are supported on my car.

Re: Unable to connect to MSCAN bus.

Go to this link http://www.obdlink.com/mxbt/ and select the compare button. Only the ODBLink MX supports MSCAN

Re: 2.5L running rough and misfire

Checked the fuel injector resistances. Cylinders 1, 2 and 3 are 13 ohms but number 4 is an open circuit. Will replace the #4 injector tomorrow. Hopefully that's all there is to it. The extra recorded trouble codes had me worried.

Re: 2.5L running rough and misfire

Service manual for P0316 says
Diagnostic Aids: Freeze frame data and the DTC P03xx are also stored, indicating in which cylinder the misfire occurred.

But I'm not seeing any freeze frame data in FORScan for Windows.

Re: Kiwi 3 support?

I received one of these through their Kickstarter. FORScan Lite for Android v1.1.3 does not connect. I've sent the log. Let me know if you need anything else.

Where do you get v4 firmware? On this page https://www.scantool.net/downloads/updates/obdlink_mx/ it list 3.3.1 from 2012 as the latest.
