Re: Colder A/C

My Evap temp was reading 20 degrees hotter then it is outside could this still be an evap sensor issue or could it be something else? Was your car sitting with the windows closed in the hot sun? In this case the inside of the car can get 20 degrees hotter than outside. Does your A/C work well when ...

Re: Colder A/C

The Evap temp is in the HVAC module which is on MSCAN. You will need a OBDLink MX or one of the adapters with a manual HSCAN/MSCAN switch. You can view the temperature value like any other PID. PID name is EVAP_TEMP. Screenshot_20170625-083350.png By the way. The above screenshot was taken after the...

Re: Colder A/C

I also have a 2010 Fusion hybrid. The latest version of FORScan will allow you to monitor the evap temp but not adjust it. My evap sensor seems to be about 20 degrees F low so when the evap air temp is around 60 the sensor is reading 40. This causes the system to reduce the speed on the variable spe...

Re: ForScan not reading all modules...

What OBDII adapter are you using? Did you add the HSCAN/MSCAN switch?

Re: Reprogramming PCM and HVAC

Can't be done with FORScan now. Maybe sometime in the future they will add this feature.

Re: DTC problems

It is not unusual to get communications DTC when performing module modifications/maintenance. Did you clear the DTC and see if they keep coming back?

My guess is the Superchips Bluefin only communicates with the PCM module so it would not see DTC in other modules.

Technically OBDII only covers engines and emissions controls (PCM module). Other modules use a similar protocol but are not covered by OBDII.

Re: Missing DDM & PDM Modules - 2017 Raptor / OBDLink MX

Newer US Fords (maybe others) have the HS-CAN2 and HS-CAN3 buses. See this topic for more details

Re: Missing DDM & PDM Modules - 2017 Raptor / OBDLink MX

Only the OBDLink MX supports MS-CAN support without an external switch
