Re: IPC on 2016 Ford Explorer Sport

Well, it's not the answer that I was looking for, but at least it's an honest answer. Is it a simple pinout that can be accomplished by some soldering a switch and patience? Thanks! Have a look at the two links below if you have not already as to the switch modification. I have done one in a simila...

Re: IPC on 2016 Ford Explorer Sport

Hi, call me a newbie or whatever, but I am in the FORScan knee deep and love the ability to customize my ride as much as humanly possible. However, I cannot seem to get FORScan to read my IPC module on my 2016 Explorer Sport. I like the fact that some of you have been able to add the climate contro...

Re: Extended license won't activate

So, I tried this on another computer (one which doesn't have bluetooth :( ) and it worked fine. I can't seem to figure out what's wrong with my laptop, but it really won't take this extended license. Is there another option? I need to activate my trailer brake controller by the end of the week so I...

Re: 2004 F150 Missing MS-CAN pin

All the pins your truck should have are in the holes they are supposed to be in. Unfortunately if 2004 F150's are like my 2005 there is no MSCan on these years as these trucks were using Uart based protocol (UBP) on Pin 3, ISO/Kline on pin 7 And HSCAN + on Pin 6 with HSCAN - on Pin 14. 12V+ or Syste...

Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows

Do I have to have my scan tool plugged into truck to get my hardware Id ? I'm just trying to get as far as I can with setup before my new truck gets here. Thanks In a word no. Your Hard Ware ID is the computer or tablet that you run Forscan on and you find that in the about section of Forscan, with...

Re: No PATS in Forscan 2.3.7

My wife's 2010 Fusion has it in the Instrument Panel Cluster Module (IPC). It required timed access (12 Minuets) and I have programed extra keys with 2.3.7 and 2.3.8 for this car. I have programed keys with my VCMII clone and my elmscan5 which reads as an ELM327 v1.4 to which I added the switch mod ...

Re: IC on demand test may have screwed up my car

Before going to anything that drastic try hooking up a charger to the battery and get the system voltage back up. Most of those codes get thrown due to low battery voltage. U codes usually mean inter module communication has been lost and that can happen for the same reason. If the Door was open and...

Re: Ford Explorer 2003 Modules Missing

If your Explorer is anything like my 2003 Expedition EB and assuming you have a door ajar continuously, I Found the door switch status in the IC module (Instrument Cluster) in the Dash Board. Load the door switch status for each door and hatch and press play to start a live stream. It should show th...
