make sure your battery is fully charged , does the elm have a switch on it ? if so is forscan asking for you to use the switch some times when reading modules , if not goto setting and set it too have switch in elm specific part . as you have successfully done other things i cant see it been an adap...

button have to be programming differently , check bootube or similar or do an internet search .

clear the dtcs they are because you have been reprogramming stuff and its normal.
run a relearn on the pcm also .

your over thinking it , yes as the speedo is now correct the odo will work the same but be correct as u have adjusted the speedo input to the correct settings ,and the odo takes it from the speedo input and working it out from thier .

dunno he never came back and hasnt log in since the 5th december .
just use froscan to reset the immobiliser and program 2 keys again .

make sure the car battery is fully charged then try again if it still does it try an older version think 2.3.17 or 18 should work correctly .
