Here is a link to the FORScan download page.

I don't know if the latest version will recognise your vehicle.

Re: DPF diffrence pressure

If you have not already worked it out here is a link to the FORScan documentation page, which should tell you what you need to know to get started.

Re: Glow plug P0380 1.6 TDCi Focus mk 2.5 2008 weird problem

I agree with denbo about this. The fault may be occurring when you are driving because when the car is trying to do a Regen the Glow Plugs should be activated to provide a bit of extra heat with this variant of the 1.6 engine, and they are not. They may also need to be active at other times for emis...

Re: Glow plug P0380 1.6 TDCi Focus mk 2.5 2008 weird problem

Have you had a look at the underside of your Engine Fuse Box cover to see if the Relays are identified ?, there is a diagram there on my Focus and one of them has a Glow Plug Symbol. I don't know if there is a separate Control Module or if the Glow Plugs are controlled direct from the PCM via the Re...

Re: help reading dp dpf log

If the reading you get with the ignition on but not running is near 0, then 1.2 is quite high. If the DPF is in very good condition the difference should be not much more than 0.2 at idle. There is an excellent post by Sinclair on this forum that should tell you all you need to know. Here is a link ...

Re: Transit T350 2.4TDCI 103kw AWD 2010 doesn't fire up, no fault codes.

I don't know what your figures should be but you are unlikely to see FRP figures of over 1000 Bar with the Van stationary, even if you rev it hard. With the vehicle moving under load the pressure can go over 1500 Bar under acceleration. I think your problem is an air starvation one. If your engine h...

Re: Strange issue

Deamon444, 32780 KPa = 327.8 Bar, which looks right for Idle Pressure. I don't have the same car as you but my Idle Pressure is around 300 Bar. I haven't tried this in the laptop version of FORScan, but in the Mobile Phone version you can change the units to show the values in Bar by clicking onto it.

Re: EGR Problem/Pressure/.. ? (P2458)

Just to clarify Hallex, the EGR_TV that I was writing about is not part of the EGR Valve. It is situated on the opposite side of the engine between the large rubber intercooler hose and the inlet manifold. The EGRVP that goes to 0 in your screenshots is part of the EGR Valve. If the EGR_TV is sticki...

Re: EGR Problem/Pressure/.. ? (P2458)

Hallex, I'm not an expert, I don't have the same engine as you but the EGR_TV values do not make sense. In my later model Focus this value is for the Air Shut Off Valve (Anti Shudder Valve )(Throttle Valve) in the Inlet Manifold. My later car does not have Eolys additive so what I'm writing might no...

Re: Forscan light and new OBDLink MX

I have only needed to accept the pairing code the first time I connected to my phone, after a phone factory reset and when I got a new phone. Every other time it connects automatically. The manufacturers of OBDLink have a forum as well, you could have a search through there or ask them the same ques...
