Re: 2015 Explorer Sync 3 update climate problems

I upgraded my 2015 Taurus to Sync 3 as well. The forscan apim programming screen (not AsBuilt) will let you choose the options to show on the screen. Heated seats, cooled seats, heated steering wheel, dual-zone, rear climate control, massage seats, etc. No need to enter hex values for these. I've fo...

Re: 2014 Expedition KR, fog lights as DRL

I wouldn't have replied if I thought it wouldn't work. ;)

You can always change it back if it doesn't.

Reminder: DRLs don't turn on in Park.

Re: 2014 Expedition KR, fog lights as DRL

On my 2013 and 2015 SHO, I use the fogs as DRLs with this mod:
DRLs + Fogs - 726-12-01 xxxx x1xx xxxx

Re: First thing before sync2 to sync3 swapping???

I've done the Sync2 to Sync3 upgrade on my 2015 Taurus. My original plan was to simply reflash my sync2 AsBuilt data onto the new sync3 APIM, but I ran into issues. Some of the dual-zone climate stuff did not show up on the main screen of my Sync3 unit. Eventually, I just found a VIN from a 2017 Tau...

Re: *.ABT format in FORScan

I've updated the tool on my site. It can now compare both ABT formats, and can convert between them, as well as UCDS format.

Thanks for the info, fordsmax471

Re: *.ABT format in FORScan

If I can get some example files in both formats, I can get this added to my 'AsBuilt Explorer' tool in the next week. All my programming has been done for a while. It's just a matter of testing before publishing a new version. Ideally, my program should compare the integer values, and so should be a...

Re: *.ABT format in FORScan

I'm working on integrating this change into my AsBuilt Explorer compare tool, along with the ability to export in old or new ABT format.

Probably in the next week or two.

Re: Ford As Built Data Deciphering

I don't really keep the app updated much, but I try to keep it working with the latest changes to the ETIS site. I totaled my Taurus back in October 2018 so I haven't had a Ford for 6 months now. I hope to get another SHO or Interceptor eventually so I am trying to keep up with the community when I ...

Re: Ford As Built Data Deciphering

Unfortunately the ETIS site requires a registered account. If you have one, you may need to open the site with IE and save your login info. My tool uses an IE browser to get the HTML.

I'm not familiar with microcat.
