Re: mileage correction

Forscan can only change mileage in the IPC for a few popular vehicles. Review the release notes for several versions of Forscan or connect to your vehicle and look for the function. Send the cluster (IPC) to a third party for correction. Cost about $100. I used this company https://www.odo-pro.com/d...

Re: Copy calibration data from a 99-04 Mustang Cluster???

No. Forscan can't write firmware to the IPC. You may have luck using Focccus software. It was made for pre-2015 Focus and may work. I read a long thread where someone upgraded the firmware (calibration) but they seemed to know a lot about this process. It's not simple and can take hours for a single...

Re: Kuga (escape) tire pressure help !!

This is not possible on the Kuga. Same problem for Focus, C Max and Transit connect. All use a similar IPC.

Check the Escape forums to be sure.

Re: Ford Escape Hex Value Chart?

Yes and no. Simple changes to IPC or ACM etc can be made. Search other forums for escape and focus for more info. But complicated changes like cruise control, LED headlights etc must be done through CC. The spreadsheets that exist are the work of some dedicated enthusiasts that meticulously checked ...

Re: Fiesta display swap (Analog to Digital)

No. The original IPC has a separate configuration file from the new one ( I assume is from a salvage vehicle). Manually reading, analyzing and changing configuration files is an advanced Forscan task and based on your questions is beyond your current skill set. You are looking at hours of work and r...

Re: Fiesta display swap (Analog to Digital)

You need to determine if there is actual parasitic current draw or if your battery is weak. Measure the current with and without the IPC plugged in. I doubt the IPC is drawing current but the configuration may have something else drawing current. If you can't measure the current, study the as built ...

Re: IPC Swap on 2015 C-Max

Yes, you do not need to program any keys, But here are some things to research: 1. If the IPC is new from a dealer, will it have the proper firmware (also called calibration)? Forscan can't upload firmware. 2. A used IPC from the same model year will be the best. The firmware will be correct and the...

Re: IPC Swap on 2015 C-Max

I don't have a C Max, but I thought it is built on the same platform as the Focus. The 2015 focus did not store PATS in the IPC. The new IPC needs a configuration file for the upgraded display. Usually the file found in a used IPC will work, but you will have to find one if yours is new. You will al...
