Re: 2013 Fusion Titanium - no BDYcm

Maybe bad ELM327 adapter. BdyCm is on MS Can and bad adapter or configuration won't read MS Can. Read the sticky posts on adapters.

Re: How to disable bms on 2017 ford escape

I think you need to click the "write" button after you make the change. "Save" may only make a backup copy.

Re: enable 2012 focus trunk release button on head light controls

After thinking some more, check BdyCm main for a menu selection to turn on fog lights. This is a commonly used option to turn on fog lights with high beams. This selection may currently be set to "without fog lights".

You need an extended license.

Re: enable 2012 focus trunk release button on head light controls

If it does not work, the BCM is not programmed for this function. Same for front or rear fog lights. Forscan is not needed to activate these functions. The switch unit sends a command on the CanBus and the BCM responds if it has the programming. I assume the latch is electronic so the wiring is alre...

Re: Reading BdyCM

No. BCM changes most be pre configured by Forscan. Later updates may add features. You can request changes and wait for updates.

You can edit other modules like ACM and IPC.

Re: Reading BdyCM

Vehicle? Many vehicles use Central Configuration and there are only a few registers listed. Plus CC must be changed using menu options. See the information forum section for details.

Re: Odometer programming

Forscan can change the odometer only on a few popular, newer vehicles. There is not a master list that I have seen. Connect Forscan and see if there option is available. I seriously doubt it works on your 2007.

There are companies in the US that make this adjustment for about $100.

Re: 16 Ford Fiesta ST Capibility Question

The short answer is no. Does your Fiesta have the battery monitoring system (BMS)? The BMS can be disabled using Forscan and this should boost the battery capacity (BMS holds the charge state at only 80%). In general the PCM controls the alternator output. You can install a diode or other device to ...

Re: How to disable bms on 2017 ford escape

You should be able to disable BMS in BdyCM (main). You need an extended license. BMS is an option listed and you can select "without BMS" and save the configuration.

Save the BdyCm configuration before you make any changes!
