Re: Add number to gear shift indicator in fiesta MK7.5

Does the option exist on the MK 7.5? If yes, then you can look at the IPC Configuration on models that have the option and try to find the register. If no, then the firmware in the IPC may not support it. But you can still try to find the register to activate it. My brief experience making changes i...

Re: FORScan issues

Some changes create temporary side effects. Sometimes you need to drive the vehicle for a while to trigger or reset the item that is causing the strange behavior. Nobody knows exactly what is going on and the symptoms change by vehicle and item changed. My vehicle always thinks the right rear door i...

Re: Ford Transit - Modules Adress miss match

I was responding to:

"They both have the same value but the check sum is different."

Others have found the as built data on the Motorcraft site did not match. This may be due to post mfg updates or something else. Who knows?

Re: Lost Gear Indicator with AutoFold Mirrors and Global Window Up/down 2017 F250 Super Duty

How can you be sure there is no interaction between modules? This is the reason why all modules as built configuration must be saved before making any changes. Install the backup configurations or get them from the Motorcraft site to restore everything back to stock.

Re: Ford Transit - Modules Adress miss match

Don't worry about the checksum. It is automatically calculated and doesn't need to be manually input. There is probably a technical, programming reason why the two sets of numbers are different but for our application it does not matter.

Re: Convert mustang 2015+ to europe

You can try to find the solution yourself. Find the VIN for US and European mustangs and compare data. Look at other vehicles to find the general location for this change. The other option is to pay a Ford dealer to make the change.

Re: as built

No, there is not a section with all the changes for every vehicle. The F150 spreadsheet is a magnificent tool that was developed by one very committed person. The best place to look for vehicle specific information is on the various forums for that vehicle. Remember, all of this is done by amateur e...
