And if you cannot extract it, ask to someone with an official Ford ETIS/IDS logon to extract the asbuilt from Ford serve...

I just bought the the VXDiag VXNano for my 2006 diesel CMax. The VX works like a charm and should work fine on any Ford (and Mazda) vehicules till 2017. But to use it, some informatic knowledge is welcome. You have to rune IDS in a virtual manchine via VMWare and it is not that easy. But don't worry...

Thanks TheLukeMartinez for your reply. I don't know yet. I've just download the old asbuilt from the damaged bcm. But at this point, I am too afraid to do anything wrong since my car is still running. I just lost some functionnalities, like the rear wipper and antifog lights. That's why I'm looking ...

I have the same issue on my 2006 CMAX... I have no precise answer for you Zuul (nice name BTW) but I am pretty sure you have to reprogram your new BCM with the asbuilt found on https://www.motorcraftservice.com/asbuilt Also, You should reprogram you keys with PATS But again, I am not sure about that...

When you install a new module, i am aware that you have to reprogram it.
But is it that simple as you said?
You just have to reprogram the BCM with the asbuilt found on the Motorcraft Service Website and it's done?

I guess you have to reprogram it with the right "AsBuilt" for your car.
But don't ask me, I don't know how...
In fact, I'm looking for some infos to reprogram a used bcm (Body Control Module) for my 2006 CMax after the original one died...
