Re: Throttle Position Sensor + Sasm unit fault codes please help :)

Accelerator pedal has two sensors built into it, looks like you have a problem with APP-D. As you have changed the pedal and the problem is still there then there could be a fault with one of the sensor wires or a blown fuse, check fuse 4 in the passenger side fuse box first if its ok then get the w...

Re: P1335 and P0490 issues on MK4 mondeo after replacing EG

To be 100% sure its not an intermittent fault with the vacuum valve to the throttle the valve could be swapped with the turbo valve to see if the fault changes to turbo, also the duty cycle for the egr on the screen shot seems high at 90% for the valve opened position.

Does the throttle valve close to 1v when the engine is switched off.

Re: P1335 and P0490 issues on MK4 mondeo after replacing EG

Mine operates the same way, under normal driving Forscan shows 4.3v steady and when the car is switched off it drops to 1v for about 3 seconds then returns to 4.3. Have you tried wiggling the wiring harness with key on engine off and look for any dropouts of voltage for the egr valve and egr throttl...

Re: P1335 and P0490 issues on MK4 mondeo after replacing EG

I have read a post on a forum where someone had the p1335 code and after changing the egr the code was still there, turned out to be a fault in the egr throttle valve or as ford call it the air shutoff valve.

Re: P1335 and P0490 issues on MK4 mondeo after replacing EG

Forscan has a service procedure "reset egr valve adaptation" that is only available in the windows version, is this what you have done.

Re: EGR-problem with Ford Mondeo TDCI 2.0 2007 (P1335)

Does egrtp v the red trace, drop to around 1 volt for a second or two when the engine is switched off then return back to 4.3 volts, if not then the fault could be with the egr throttle valve which is located inside the air intake pipe just before it connects to the intake manifold.

Re: Using Forscan with a aftermarket ECU.

I had a problem where a 10 amp fuse feeding the pcm had a bad contact in the fuse box so forscan was unable to connect to the car to read fault codes, so I had no idea what the fault was, if this new feature allows communication with other modules when the pcm is down it would be a great help in tro...
