Re: Which ELM327 To Buy
I bought this a few days ago and modified it so I could use the MS-CAN connection. http://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B00FPG3ZUQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Works perfectly. A greeting I did a similar mod on my ELM327 WIFI device with off/on switch so you can leave the ELM device conne...

Re: New Service Functions Ford Ranger Mazda BT50 3.0 WE/CD
Unfortunately, this model has quite little of service functions. In addition to programming injectors (implemented in FORScan), we know only 2 function: Reset All Adaptations (PCM reset, used when some components are replaced, details have to be found in workshop manual) and MAF reset. If these oth...

Re: New Service Functions Ford Ranger Mazda BT50 3.0 WE/CD
In general case, Ranger/Mazda of 2011 model year has the PCM of latest generation that has much more functions that the previous one, installed on Mazda/Ranger of 2007-2008 model year. What are the functions you would like to see in FORScan? Do you have a list of what is available? I was thinking R...

New Service Functions Ford Ranger Mazda BT50 3.0 WE/CD
Hi FORScan team,
Do you plan to implement many more service functions for Ford Ranger/ Mazda BT50 WE/CD 3litre?
I note you have implemented many service functions for later model 2011 Ford Ranger/Mazda B Series 2.2/3.2
Many thanks in advance.

Re: EGR value reset procedure
No. PCM is always on HS-CAN, so you don't need to modify it for MS-CAN support in order to reset EGR. You say the new version of FORScan (2.2) will support reflashing ECU module with ELM327 device in some cases. http://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=408 Will we have the ability to view the E...

Re: resetting maf learned values
I would like this implemented on Mazda Bt50 3lr turbo diesel 2008 as well.
At servicing it is a good idea to clean MAF and MAP Sensors on turbo Diesels.
Resetting learned values of the Maf sensor will possibly help fuel consumption and the running of the vehicle in general.

Re: FORScan Users in Australia
Forscan Lite (iPhone and iPad) works great with my Mazda BT50 3l Diesel 2008 with China Elm 327 wifi adapter (11ms response with no tweaking)
PC version also works great as well.
Reset my MIL yesterday as a result, was getting EGR errors, but waiting to see if errors reoccur
