Re: 720-07-01 not showing in IPC

have you looked at the as-built files for your vehicle? is it in the as-built? The adapter you have should work. I noticed the modification for the ms can switch, have you flipped the switch and does it work properly? I am not implying that you are not smart, but even the best make mistakes. If the ...

Re: 2013 Ford F-250 superduty

you can disable the TPMS chime/warning by modifying the IC as built. I found mine by writing one 0 at a time to the IC until my warning went out. it took about ten minutes but no more warning! This did not stop TPMS DTCs. Fortunately for me it was in the first line! FYI the SJB/GEM sends a signal to...

Re: 2017 superduty tpms disable

The CHIME/light is controlled by a signal from the GEM to the IC. I used 0 for one block at a time and narrowed mine down5. SO no more chime/light. This essentially stops only the notification but the GEM will still error out. I only zeroed the 5th through 8th digit one row at a time and then wrote ...

Re: 6.4 Powerstroke TPMS

The TPMS is in the gem, but if you are sick of the chime/light that function in in the IC. You will need to explore a little. I used 0 one write at a time until the TPMS light went off! Be careful as you might mess up your pats. I found min at the 5th digit if 720-01-01. Yes your GEM will still erro...

2008 sport trac SJB/GEM replacement

After a long day my turn signals and 4 way flashers quit working! I didn't know that on these particular vehicles, there is no flasher can! The flashers are controlled by the GEM/SJB! To replace this devil of a device, its not all that hard but, you will spend a lot of time on your back! It is locat...

Re: 2008 sport trac Smart Juntion box/TPMS

I guess old age is messing with me!! Disregard my last post!! Its the 5th and 6th digits of 720-01-01 that turn off the TPMS chime and error! This may work with 2006- 2010 explores and sport tracs, your mileage may vary. Ensure you make a backup of your as-built file before you change anything!! at ...

Re: 2008 sport trac Smart Juntion box

well, I have finally figured out how to stop the annoying chime and alert on my 2008 sport trac. In respect to Forscan, They cannot add it to their feature list due to safety concerns.
I don't want to cause problems either but I will give you a hint, 720-01-01 7th and 8th digit!!
best of luck!

2008 sport trac Smart Juntion box

For the last couple of years, I have had problems with my TPMS. There was a lot of swearing and some fist slamming, but none of that seemed to work. Then there was the occasional battery drain. More foul language, it didn't help! Then all of the sudden the truck would start and run but.. The turn si...

Re: 1999 Ford Explorer - reprogramming for towing

After a lot of research, and paying for the v98 IDS software with a VDX adapter from ebay, I was able to turn on my Neutral tow function. The problem I had was the neutral safety switch on the transmission was not properly aligned! The easiest way to test is to put your car in neutral and try to sta...
