Re: i have a question and i search an answer

In addition, a more informative title will get you a faster answer. Some folks will only read the topics that they are likely to have an answer for based on the title.

For example, "PCM Programming 2006 Focus TDCI" would be a concise, but informative title.

Re: High Beams Flashing Instead Of Staying On

Not likely. I'd suggest adding a resistor to the circuit. They are fairly cheap and most sets of LED lamps come with them.

Re: Extended license

There is a free trial license that grants all of the same features as the paid license. If I'm not mistaken, you can renew it every two months.

Re: new lifelong licence

Not sure. I'd imagine that you're able to generate a new license, which would invalidate the old one. But that would be a question better asked to the FORScan team.

Re: Opening as built file

First, connect to the vehicle. Then, go to the "Configuration and Programming" tab. Open the module you want to restore in (AS BUILT format). Re: new lifelong licence

Re: GEM module Ford Explorer Sport Trac 2007

I don't know how similar the GEM in the sport trac is to my F-150 or the DDM in my Crown Vic, but typically, the TPMS system will ignore any value less than the default value. As far as disabling TPMS goes, I wanted to disable mine until I actually started working with TPMS enabled vehicles at my la...

Re: As-Built discrepancy

Sometimes the as-built data does not match the settings the vehicle currently has. The as-built data only matches what the settings were when the vehicle left the factory. The dealership may have changed some settings pre-sale, and previous owners may have had changes made during their ownership. Di...

Re: Fire Suppression light on

I would not recommend simply grounding the wire. You need to find out what the fault is first. I can't say for sure because my car doesn't have a Fire Suppression Module, but FORScan might be able to pull the codes at the very least.
